Here comes the sun

The sun is shining and Spring is in the air, time to update my wardrobe with some awesome summer pieces. I already spotted some things I would love to add to my summer wishlist at H&M and New Yorker last Friday. It's not much, but I'll make progress slowly (;

ZARA lookbook April 2012

Spring is everywhere, even in the lookbooks. As you can see a fresh, new season of bright colors, simple pieces and loads of white, just how we like it. I wasn't very excited about the looks at first sight, but then I saw some pieces which I did really like, for example the white blouse on the first photo, especially in combination with the colored pants. I also loved the all white outfit on the eighth photo; clean, simple and white, gives me the ultimate summer feeling.

Hello Spring

Today, Tuesday 20 March 2012, Spring has officially begun. I'm so happy winter is finally over. Here comes the sun, the flowers will pop up, the trees will get their leaves back, people will be happier and love will grow into the air, like every year. Yes, darlings, Spring has begun.

'Promspiration' the look

I think I will just go with a flawless skin, loads of winged eyeliner and very long lashes. No extreme eye make-up look, and no red lipstick. Although maybe a tiny, tiny bit of eye shadow, otherwise I feel like I miss something. But what color on earth looks nice with my red dress.. My dress is outstanding enough actually, well,

 less is more, at least that's what they say.

Prom progress

I've got the shoes! So the two most important things are done. I have to pick up my dress tomorrow or next week then it can be customized to fit and I'm ready to go. Although, I still need to decide what to do with my makeup, hair, jewelry, thing to put my phone and money in, and with who I am actually going to prom. I think it will all turn out fine. Let's hope!

Prom dress

Well, today I went on a quest for the perfect prom dress. A long red, strapless dream dress it is. I'm so happy! I will show you after prom. I'm still looking for the perfect shoes though, but that's not the most important issue right now. Ohmy, it was the third dress I tried on and from the beginning I saw that one, I knew it was going to be it, it had to, and now it is. 

Couldn't be any happier!

'Promspiration' the haircut

Slowly making some progress in the whole prom thing, I'll search soon for a dress. Then the next issue, what am I going to do with my hair? I want curls, that's for sure. And I don't like my hair in an updo, it's just not my thing, so loose curls / waves would be perfect. But the updo's look all so pretty! To be honest, I think it is going to be something like the first picture. Damn, why don't I have such hair as that, it looks so perfect, the structure, the curls, everything..

Stradivarius lookbook March 2012

Okay, to be honest, I'm not very excited about this months lookbook. I don't know, there are some nice items I think, but just the photos and outfits are not my style. Besides I don't think they choose the right model, she just doesn't show what this collection is supposed to show, especially not in combination with the composition of the photo and the background they've chosen. I like the pink blazer (3rd photo) and the green skirt (7th photo) though. Nevermind just take look and make your own judgement about the lookbook of March 2012.
