Prom night

As you may know, or not know, tonight's prom night. I don't feel excited to be honest and I don't know why, I've been excited for this for months and now that feeling is just gone. Nevermind, I'm going to finish cleaning my room, then I'm going to polish my nails, take a bath, clean my face, wash my hair, shave, bodylotion etc. After I'm going to do my hair, I still don't know what to do with it, because I saw an awesome tutorial which looks classy but still not too much, it's an half-updo. Then make-up, have dinner, dress up and go. Okay as I see this it looks like I'm going to need hours and hours but I think it won't take as much as as it looks. After writing this I have to admit I'm getting a little excited about it. Actually, I don't expect much of the whole prom, they say the first 10 minutes are nice; you see everyone, drink something, talk a little and then it's over. You've already seen everyone with their nice dresses and come on, I don't think people will actually dance on those high heels. But okay, I'm going to make the best of it, in my best dress, fearless. I'll show you pictures of my outfit this evening if I have time to schedule and pictures of the night later, hopefully tomorrow. 

'Promspiration' the shoes

Oh, I thought I already had an inspiration-post for prom shoes, seems like I didn't. Well, for the ones who don't have their shoes yet. Personally, I would keep it simple if you have an outstanding dress, if not, if you have a simple dress, go for bold shoes, like a fancy color or sparkling shoes!

'Promspiration' the jewelry

Jewelry, after the dress the most difficult thing to find for prom. You just have to find the perfect small thing which emphasize your dress without make the total picture look like you're a Christmas tree. I think one of the best things with a strapless dress a small necklace, like on the third picture it always looks good, it's classy and it emphasize your collarbones. Another thing which is very nice is an outstanding bracelet as shown on the sixth picture, it goes with almost every type of dress and it looks nice when you hold a clutch. The last thing I think would look great with many prom dresses are chandeliers, they're classy and look good with every hairstyle. The thing about prom jewelry is that it quickly is all too much. When it comes down to prom jewelry;

less is more.

'Promspiration' the look

I think I will just go with a flawless skin, loads of winged eyeliner and very long lashes. No extreme eye make-up look, and no red lipstick. Although maybe a tiny, tiny bit of eye shadow, otherwise I feel like I miss something. But what color on earth looks nice with my red dress.. My dress is outstanding enough actually, well,

 less is more, at least that's what they say.

Prom progress

I've got the shoes! So the two most important things are done. I have to pick up my dress tomorrow or next week then it can be customized to fit and I'm ready to go. Although, I still need to decide what to do with my makeup, hair, jewelry, thing to put my phone and money in, and with who I am actually going to prom. I think it will all turn out fine. Let's hope!

Prom dress

Well, today I went on a quest for the perfect prom dress. A long red, strapless dream dress it is. I'm so happy! I will show you after prom. I'm still looking for the perfect shoes though, but that's not the most important issue right now. Ohmy, it was the third dress I tried on and from the beginning I saw that one, I knew it was going to be it, it had to, and now it is. 

Couldn't be any happier!
